Ferrite and AlNiCo Education Magnets are friendly to children and easily learning magnetic field. 

Magnetic field is invisible. The magnetic force exists in the magnet, but it cannot be seen or touched, but the magnetic field exists objectively. What is an educational magnet? An educational magnet is for the purpose of education, helping students to understand the substance of magnets and understand the role of magnetism.

What kind of magnets are suitable educational magnets:
1. The size should be appropriate, not too large or too small, generally between the size of a child's finger to the size of a palm, so that the child can easily hold and observe it.
2. The material should be suitable, and the surface magnetism should not be too strong or too weak. The surface magnetism is too strong. For example, rare earth magnets are easy to pinch children's hands, which will be dangerous to operate. The density of rare earth magnets is also too high. The surface magnetism is too weak, such as rubber magnetis, and it cannot demonstrate the magnetic field distribution well, and the material is also soft and easy to deform. Therefore, educational magnets generally use ferrite or AlNiCo magnets. The surface magnetism is not very strong, just enough to demonstrate the distribution of magnetic lines of force. The material density is lower than that of rare earth magnets and will not be too heavy.
3. The shape is distinct, generally a square strip, or a U-shaped, or a slender cylindrical shape. Square bar and cylindrical magnets N and S poles are located at the ends, with the most edge magnets being the strongest at the ends and the weakest at the center. The two parallel ends of the U-shaped magnet are the N pole and the S pole, which have the strongest magnetism, and the weakest magnetism in the center of the arc section.

In addition, the surface of the magnet is sprayed with red, blue or red and green, and the N and S poles are marked. The red represents the N pole, and the blue and green represent the S pole, with distinct polarities.

The most direct demonstration of the magnetic field is to use a magnet to attract iron and nickel objects, such as coins, nails, screwdrivers, etc. Prove the existence of magnetism.
The distribution of magnetic field strength and the visual display of magnetic lines of force require fine iron powder to cooperate with the demonstration. Place the magnet flat on white paper or whiteboard, and evenly sprinkle fine iron powder on the cardboard. The iron powder will form an arc under the action of the magnetic field. One is arranged in a curved line, and the two ends of the curved line are connected to the poles of the magnet. The denser places represent the poles where the magnetic force is strongest, and the farther away from the poles, the looser the curve.

Generally, AlNiCo magnets have a smoother surface, stronger magnetic force, better demonstration effect, and cost several times higher than ferrite.
The advantages of ferrite magnets are that the cost is cheap, the surface treatment is not as good as that of AlNiCo magnets, and the magnetic force is relatively weak.
